Elmo Ride at Busch Gardens
The name speaks for itself. The Sesame Street Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is awesome family fun. The whole of Sesame Street here is a family orientated area with plenty of rides and attractions to keep you entertained. Almost certainly, you will run into a few of the characters from Sesame Street as you explore. Be sure to look out for Elmo and Big Bird as well as the famous Cookie Monster. Also wandering the area is Ernie and Bert. Be sure to stop them for selfie or photograph opportunities. Having two major rides and a live show as well as great dining facilities, makes Sesame Street Safari of Fun a very popular choice. Also there are some fantastic gift shops here selling all manner of trinkets and souvenirs to take home.
Sunny Day Theater – Sesame Street Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Enjoy a live show at the fabulous Sunny Day Theater in Sesame Street Safari of Fun Region of the park. Sunny Day Theater is all-seated and caters for all. For disabled guests there are hassle free entrances and exits as well as reserved spaces for wheelchair users. Here you can watch the twice daily showing of 'Let's Play Together', live performance starring Elmo and his friends. The show is perfect family entertainment for holidaymakers in Florida. The performance is all singing and dancing and is based on friendships. Come along to the Sunny Day Theater and take in one of the brilliant shows here on offer. Air Grover Coaster – Sesame Street Region at Busch Gardens Tampa bay
Ride the children's Air Grover Roller Coaster here in Sesame Safari of Fun Region. This ride is a lot more family and children friendly than some of the larger rides of the park. Take advantage and bring the family to ride the Air Grover Roller Coaster. There are height restrictions in place at the Air Grover Roller Coaster. Children can ride the coaster, but have to be just short of one metre tall in height to do so. Parents are welcome to accompany their children whilst riding the junior style roller coaster. Piloted by Grover at the front of the train, this mild and gentle roller coaster is extremely child friendly. Have you brought your children to ride the Air Grover Roller Coaster yet?
Bert and Ernie's Watering Hole – sesame Street at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Featuring a child friendly splash area called Bert and Ernie's watering Hole at Sesame Street Safari of Fun Region of Busch Gardens. Cool off from the Florida sunshine in the fabulous water play area. Perfect for families with young children who need some water fun. Parents are welcome to supervise from the sidelines and watch their children enjoy the spraying jets of water. Also, featuring two separate areas for younger and older children to have fun. Bubbling jets are active in the water to add excitement to the water area. Also, there are geysers and jets in both areas. Not to mention the dunking buckets of water that drop with no warning. Getting soaked has never been so fun.
Small Rides – Sesame Street at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Dotted throughout the Sesame Street Safari of Fun Region are small rides that have no age restrictions and provide superb entertainment and family fun. Having plenty to choose from makes the range more appealing to the whole family.
Cookie Monster Canopy crawl is a great family experience that is both interactive and set in three stories of netted fun.
Elmo's Treehouse Trek is quite popular and a great family adventure too. You can climb all the way to the top of the treehouse up three stories of interactive fun. Share the experience with a grown up too.
Elmo's Safari Go Roundis a carousel ride for younger children to enjoy. Younger children must ride with a grown up of 14 year old's or more. A great excuse to take the kids (where you have to ride with).
Smiley's Sahara Sandsis a fantastic sandbox play area for the whole family to enjoy. Bring the family for a time out activity with lots of digging in the superb sand box of fun.
Teny's Jungle Jam is a delightful area where you can take some quality, family time out from the main rides and attractions. With plenty of places to shade from the sunshine too.
Smaller Rides – Sesame Street Region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Some of the smaller rides at the Sesame Street Safari of Fun Region are height restricted, which is worth knowing. Also, dotted around the area they are easy to find when exploring Sesame Street Safari of Fun Region.
Big Bird's Whirly Birdie is a slow motion spin ridefor the younger audience. The height restriction in place is that you have to be under the height of 1.4 metres to ride.
Count's Zambezi Ralley is a car on a track ride for the younger children. Great fun to watch the little one's having fun. The height restriction is that you have to be 1.4 metres tall to ride.
Rosita's Djembi Fly Away is a beautiful carousel ride for the younger audience. The slower and smaller swings than the usual carousel ride make this perfect for the youngsters. the height restriction is that you have to be under one metre tall to ride.
Soe-Patra and the Hippo's of the Nile ride is a small scale water ride. The car travels slowly with a few gentle dips and splashes along the way. The height restriction in place is that you have to be between 0.9 metres and 1.4 metres tall to be able to ride.
Dining – Sesame Street region at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Take advantage of dining with the 'Lunch with Elmo and Friends' experience running throughout October. The whole family can choose from a delicious menu at the Sesame Place outdoor seated area. Frequent visits from Elmo and his friends are to be expected. Great opportunities to take selfies with the stars of Sesame Street. See some of the amazing Sesame Street characters as you dine with the family throughout October. The menu offers classic American themed cuisine such as pulled pork and barbecued chicken as well as plenty of pasta and salad choices.
