This hotel charged me three times for a one night stay of 8/4 so I could take a very ill love one to the Moffitt Center the on 8/5. I ask the representative for a room with two beds.When I received the confirmation email, I discovered he booked a room with one bed. I need a refund on the two charges.

While all the people working at the hotel were very courteous, pleasant and as helpful as could be expected given the situation, we found the hotel did not meet our expectations. Our third floor room was designated a "handicapped" room, but it was located mid point around the courtyard from the only elevator. My husband has a bad knee and the walk to and from the elevator was difficult for him. In addition, when we arrived around 6:30 PM on 3/12/15, workers were still painting the banisters around the courtyard on our side (the north side) of the third floor. In addition to being wet, the paint also smelled. When we went in the room, the room temperature was in the high 80's, which was completely unexpected since the outside temperature was also warm. Tampa, Florida was not experiencing a "cold snap" during our stay. On 3/13/15 about one PM we found the water was shut off without notice. When I called the office, I was told the water would be off from noon until 2 PM. When it didn't come back on by 2:15 PM, I called the office and was told since it was after two PM, someone would check with the plumber. Around 2:25 PM the water came back on. We had reservations for a two night stay. Coming back from dinner on the second night, we found the side door key and the room key had been deactivated. Fortunately I'm still able to walk and could go to the lobby to get new keys while my husband waited. Although it didn't affect us since we were able to park close to the side door that was thankfully near the elevator, the three handicapped spots in the parking lot by that side entrance were full of debris, used cabinets from rooms being renovated on the south side of the hotel and a large trash bin.
